The favorite fashion accessory, “Tattoo” is becoming very popular among youth and different age groups people as well. Earlier, it was only teenagers, who use to go for a Tattoo art, to add a style statement in their looks but today, everyone is so conscious about their personality, which is why experimenting on many new things, to make a fashion statement every day. But on the other side it is extremely important to take certain precautions if you would like to get a tattoo done on your skin, and protection of your skin where you have your Tattoo, is one of them.

Some may like to write the name of their spouse on their body and other may like to have just a nice artwork. However, apart from the being a popular fashion accessory, Tattoos also have flip side, which is the afterwards side effects that can damage your skin vigoursly.

The first precaution one should take is to avoid exposing that area of the body where you have a tattoo art done. As we have mention earlier, the chemical used while creating tattoo on your body can react adversely with sunrays. Because sunrays already have, harmful UV rays that can damage our skin cells, so the further exposure of our skin with chemicals along with sunrays can deeply affect your body while causing many skin problems.
However, if you still need to go out, then, never forget to apply a high SPF lotion, especially on your tattoo area. Applying sunscreen lotion will not only save your skin from harmful UV rays but also will protect your tattoo from fading or having any undesirable reaction with sunrays.
Note: sunscreen lotion only works for 2-3 hours, so if you are going out for whole day keep your high SPF sun scream handy, so that you cal re-apply it after 2-3 hours to protect your skin from UV rays.
Moreover, you can even hide that particular body part (where you have tattoo) from sunrays by covering it with cloth. For instance if you have a tattoo on your hand, prefer wearing full sleeves while going under sun or if you have a tattoo art on your neck area you can hide it with a scarf or a high collar shirt.
